Cheesemongers vs Librarians Cap

£20.00
sold out

In 1888, cheese was sold from the Produce Hall across the way, the space above was a lending library for the people of the town. The lack of ventilation led to complaints from the librarians about their health as the smell was almost overpowering.

These days we sell cheese in well ventilated spaces for all of our sakes, though the wheels do occasionally put up a fight.
